first came to fame as "The Artful Dodger" the Musical
"Oliver", "Stop the World - I Want To Get Off"
provided him with a vehicle for his prodigious talents and made
the Show an immediate hit with audiences both in the West End
and Broadway.
In this recording Mike Holloway
follows in the steps of Anthony Newly, giving a performance the
fans will recognise as being in the tradition of the show with
the wide range of abilities required to carry off this character.
This innovative score includes the smash hit song "What Kind
Of Fool Am I" which went on to be recorded by the likes of
Sammy Davis Jr, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. The show has remained
as fresh and exciting today as it was originally.
