My Fair Lady, one of the worlds favourite musicals, is given a sparkling first complete recording starring an exemplary cast headed by the great Alec McCowen as Professor Higgins. The wonderful and versatile opera star Tinuke Olafimihan takes on the role of Eliza Doolittle and that of Alfred Doolittle by international film star Bob Hoskins.

This star studded complete recording won the prestigious 1997 Gramophone Award in the Music Theatre category.

It is unusual for any works in the canon of the Broadway Musical Theater to be brilliant in every aspect of the work, My Fair Lady is one of those rare creatures and this recording is also one of them in that every second of it is brilliantly recorded especially the orchestrations of Robert Russell Bennett and Phillip J. Lang.
