Following the critically acclaimed WHAT I DID FOR LOVE (CDJAY 1314), Caroline O'Connor's debut solo album for JAY, the latest CD from Caroline features songs from the Broadway stage and Movie screen, as performed by her in her current concert entitled FROM STAGE TO SCREEN.

The 15 tracks include songs from films such as PERHAPS PERHAPS PERHAPS (Strictly Ballroom), WHAT KIND OF FOOL (Saturday Night Fever), DANCING QUEEN (Muriel's Wedding); and KISSING YOU from the Leonardo Di Caprio film Romeo and Juliet.

Other songs featured are PEOPLE, BIG SPENDER, THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM, DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND, AQUARIUS and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO MABEL?, the song which Caroline stopped the show with at every performance when she starred in Mack and Mabel at London's Piccadilly theatre.

Delivered by Caroline in her inimitable style and accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra, the album was recorded in Abbey Road Studios, London. It is the perfect showcase for the talented star of stage and screen, who is touring at present with her solo concert in Australia before continuing in London, and then onto Broadway at the end of the year. More importantly, Caroline's debut movie Moulin Rouge, in which she co-stars with Nicole Kidman and Ewan MacGregor, will be released this summer.
