John Yap formed JAY Productions Ltd about 20 years ago. To date John has produced and owns possibly the largest catalogue of recordings of musical theatre in the world. Recordings also include productions of opera and operetta by English National Opera, The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Sadler's Wells Opera and the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, Original Broadway Cast, Original London Cast and All Star studio cast recordings.

The extensive catalogue includes The Rink with Liza Minnelli, Camelot with Richard Harris, My Fair Lady with Bob Hoskins, The Rocky Horror Show with Brian May, South Pacific, Guys And Dolls, songs from The Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon etc and the list goes on...

John produces almost all the recordings at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London. He also frequently goes over to America to make cast recordings of Broadway musicals and others.
