Janis Kelly studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music in London and in Paris under Elizabeth Gummer. She has appeared with the English National Opera in its productions of The Mikado and Street Scene and in concert throughout the world. She was Magnolia in the Opera North/RSC's award-winning production of Showboat.
