Ethan starred as 'The Beast' in Walt Disney's European Premier production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in Vienna. This follows some two years as 'The Phantom' in the West End production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at Her Majesty's Theatre.

Ethan moved from New York to Vienna to continue training in opera at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts, receiving his degree with distinction. During this time he gained a wide range of professional experience in all forms of musical theatre and oratorio, and appeared in galas and on television. Roles included 'Pluto' in ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD (Vienna Chamber Opera in the Palm Beach Festival), 'Benggston' in the Austrian premier of Rainmann's GESPENSTER SONATE and 'Macheath' in THE BEGGAR'S OPERA.

He moved to Hamburg for CATS where he played 'Bustopher, Gus, Growltiger. He then returned to Vienna's Theatre An Der Wien as 'The Phantom' in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA under the direction of Harold Prince becoming the youngest actor to play the role and the first to do so in a language not his own.

Ethan's recordings for JAY include JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, GREASE, BRIGADOON, ON THE TOWN and SWEET CHARITY and a solo album, STEPPING INTO THE LIGHT. He also recorded the cast album for Beauty And The Beast and an all star Christmas Album.
